Duration: 18 Months (3 trimesters of 4 weeks each + 22 weeks internship)
ELIGIBILITY : Class 10+2 pass or equivalent

Program Overview

This one and hasl year program introduces students to the world of food production through essential operational techniques and hands-on core competency training. Key highlights include classic European cooking methods, knife skills, stocks, and sauces as foundational knowledge. Patisserie skills are honed through specialised courses, while industry essentials such as food safety and nutrition prepare students for industrial training placements with leading hotels and restaurant chains in India.

About Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC)

The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) is an industry-led sector skill council under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India. It bridges skill gaps and ensures high-quality vocational training in hospitality, tourism, and culinary arts. THSC certifications are nationally recognized and meet industry standards, providing students with employable skills aligned with the growing demands of India’s tourism and hospitality sector.
